Who will be Club captain next year? With Monas finishing, not sure Westwood has enjoyed the role( when fit) and maybe plays better without accountability? Joel seems to have taken a lead role this year or maybe Micky Higham. Thought maybe a Sims but despite his monstrous performances for the Cowboys(they went out yesterday to Roosters) not sure from his interviews he is a leader?

You hit the nail on the head .... we need a leader, someone you will guide, inspire and lead by example. Someone who when the team needs a lift will be listened to and someone people respect and will turn to when the going gets tough. Not really sure we have anybody like this. Grix for me would be a possibility from his behavior on the pitch but I have never seen him interviewed and perhaps he is too injury prone. It is a conundrum especially when you consider the potential number of kids playing and coming through that will be looking for guidance and support.

I'd go for Hill and with Westwood. Can't see them taking it away from Westwood and Hill would be a great addition. Hill is a well respected player now and we've got a lot of young forwards with a lot of potential now and Hill is the ultimate professional to lead these young boys.

Joel seems to talk to the team, knows the game, has respect across the league and look how him and Monas looked after Grix...worth a shout

Only one name in the running as far as I am concerned, Joel Monaghan. He has stepped up and been de facto captain for most of the season, even when Westwood was on the field.
