If I have understood things correctly (by no means certain) I would be interested to know what opinions you all have on whether we should rest as many players as possible next week. If Saints beat Huddersfield (likely?) we make the top 4 even if we lose. If Huddersfield win and we lose we drop to fifth and have a home game against either Catalans or Chemics. Against this, it is possible that we could get to second or, more likely third if we beat the pies. Is it worth it?

As for resting players, I would field the strongest team we can without risking anyone with niggles.

No way should we rest players from now till we are done.

Play the best players available to secure the win and hence top 4 place. Then lets see what happens elsewhere.

If you're trying to dodge teams in the play offs, you don't deserve to be in the play offs.

We should be trying to back up last weeks effort with similar performances for the remainder of the season. Otherwise there is no point in being in the playoffs.

Month to go, go hard at it from now on in, playing the strongest available squad with the strongest available in each position.

Now I'm one of the "never rest anyone for a Wigan game" brigade, but, if we have anyone that's 50/50 re injuries, I'd give the resting issue some thought. But resting for resting's sake.....not a chance
