| Evening folks wondering if any of you Super League Fans can help me ?
I’m currently building a website, mainly as an exercise to teach myself how to build one, however when I was coming up with subject matter I decided to combine my two loves of rugby league and real ale , a combination that seem to go hand in hand anyway ….
From my years of spectating and quaffing around the lower leagues , I’ve managed to put together a fair few ‘trails/crawls’ of pubs / bars starting /finishing at Championship RL grounds or transport hubs ,with decent ales on tap(not necessarily obscure ones , just well kept ‘non keg fizz’ will do) that are welcoming to RL fans.
The idea is then to map them out & follow up on contact info / opening times /beers served / kids welcome / club shirts policy’s etc, all info that might be useful to visiting fans, all on the site, with an opportunity for fans to add comments,, photos and reviews as well.
My visits to SL grounds (as a Keighley follower) are few and far between any help to suggest possible trail for your team would be massively appreciated. All help will be acknowledged on the site .
Thanks and any thoughts anyone ?
Rach

| The Tavern is your best bet for Warrington, Rach.
Situated on a roundabout crossing the A49/A57
Great real ale (about £2.60 a pint) 8 hand pumps (incl ciders) and some fantastic whiskys.
Kids welcome. But bar rolls, no food served.
I'd avoid Wetherspoons' The Looking Glass (about 5 mins walk away). Real ale kept poorly in comparison to The Tavern. They do food, but it's "ding"

| You've forgot to mention the Lower Angel along the same road as the looking glass friendly atmosphere and 6 guest pumps plus the mild brewed out the back in there micro brewery .

| Me and a friend did the 'Warrington Ale Trail' last week.
We visited Wilkies, Porters, The Looking Glass, The Lower Angel, The White Hart 9 Gallon.
It was a cracking night.
