| Did anyone alse watch Rugby AM on Premier Sports last night? I know it was full of Yorkshire men and was a bit scrappy but there is something to work on I think.
Any thoughts?

| 'Amateurish' would be an understatement. The desk wasn't even big enough to accommodate half the guests. Some of the 'humour' was bordering on inappropriate for broadcast. Didn't really understand why chev walker's Mrs was there? The Bradford feature was a week late.
I understand they're going for a lighthearted approach, not something as dry as boots n all or super league show, but a bit of professionalism wouldn't kill them.
edit: I'd actually forgotten (repressed?) Wayne Godwin...sorry, Wagga's 'impersonations'. Actually painful.

| Not seen it, but from what I've heard it seems far too Yorkshire centric and it's trying to be the Footy Show. Think i'll be giving it a miss.

| It was definitely too Yorkshire for me and got on my nerves a bit but I think they need a bigger budget and that wont happen with RL shows unfortunately

| I never saw it, but if its on Premier Sports, then the likelihood is it was always going to be a touch amateurish.
On a serious note, if the likes of Simon Moran and Marwan Koukash seriously want to improve the standing of the British game, and, with it, the fortunes of their own clubs, then might it not be a good idea for them to combine and invest in the production of a British RL magazine TV programme, which actually looks like we can do some things professionally?
I'm sure Moran especially must have some contacts within TV production - I know we will always struggle to be taken seriously outside the Northern heartlands, but with the right backing we could surely produce something that wouldn't have people cringing through their hands (which is what seems to have happened from the reviews I've seen on VT).
