And so you should be Dr K (though I see no evidence), and so should every club in the game. The RFL aren't there to dole out pocket money to you, you are a successful business man so get your business in order and generate some income of your own.

I'm not defending the RFL but this attitude of "We need more money Mr Wood, now go and find us a sponsor who will give us some please" really grates.

Agree with that 100%. The Doctor is good at publicity, but he's yet to show any ability or regard for Marketing.

He says a lot of thing that others aren't daft enough to say. I predict that in 18 months time he'll have jumped ship.

I Don't like Salford (they have beaten my team Leigh far too much in the last 10 years....ha ha) But seriously, I like the Doctor...Quite a character, for a rich bloke.

I have no opinion either way about the good doctor, but any publicity about our great game is better than none at all .

Read his press conference comments, I don't care about the salary cap I'll just pay the fine to brake it I think his words was, many more but if like me you have respect for the RFL and the way rugby league is run in this country you would not take the out if it, (in my opinion) my last post summed him up, you may like him I don't. He's certainly got a mouth on him, which honestly is fine by me, but his team has to back it up on the field, and I hope for his sake (and the compeitions) that they do. Otherwise he's going to look like a right twonk.

His press conference managed to make all of the broadsheets, has any preseason conference ever managed to achieve that except for maybe Wigan, Saints or Leeds? In fact, I have had to check this is the wire forum and not scarlet turkey at times over the past few months.

Listening to GMR last night you could tell that despite his very public opinions towards the RFL, there was still a great deal of mutual respect and comradery between him and Rimmer.

And by the way, Koukash tweeted last week "the RFL have been to Salford and everything is fine" At the start Koukash seemed frustrated with a cap he in his own words knew nothing about before buying Salford. The whole "ill break the cap" speech was to me born out of frustration.

We haven't broke the cap and I very much doubt we will!
