Does anyone have an XBOX 360 data transfer lead that I could borrow to use and return within the time it takes me to get from the collection point to Great Sankey, transfer the hard drive and then return straight back please? My lad' s xbox has crashed beyond repair and I've bought him the Xbox slim. Now he needs to transfer his stuff from his old Xbox.

Hope WW doesn't mind me hijacking his thread, but I didn't want to start a new one on a similar vein. My son got Skylanders Swap Force off Santa, and his sister knocked his Xbox over whilst he was playing it. In now has a massive circular grove around it and is unplayable. It has been suggested that if I could get another copy and install it, his Xbox may recognise the original damaged disk, and run the game from his hard drive with the damaged disk in the tray.

Big ask, but does anyone have the disk I could borrow? I wouldn't ask but it's going to cost me £50 quid to replace, and I've already spent hundreds on Skylanders. Sankey area if that helps.

most game stores have got machines that can skim the top layer of the disc costs about £2.50 to £5.00 ive done it with a few of my discs and its worked everytime

My lad has sky landers swap force, am at a lose to what it's all about. Plus the figures are a rip off.

This looks too deep and wide for that, but may give it a go if I can get hold of another copy.
