Some really good commentary on the games so far, how it should be, who the players are, who they are passing too and why etc, not the usual verbal diarrhoea that Eddie and Steve spout all the time, they have to go, bring back Ray French.

I've been thinking the same. Eddie and Stevo are constantly talking about clubs and players not involved in the game they are commentating on. They're always looking for something to get upset about as well.

Really noticed the difference when I watched the Samoa-NZ back. The commentators were loving the big, hard hits and little bits of ruckus. They even made comment on how Silverwood gave 'bad advice' by telling the Samoans to not wind up the Kiwis. It was tongue in cheek, I know, but you just don't get anything like that with the Sky team.

I thought Brian Noble also did a good job on the BBC for the England Aussie game, really talking up the quality of the players on view. He went out of his to way to emphasise that we were witnessing some of the best rugby players "of any code" and great athletes, not just great RL players.
