| To all Wire fans,
So sorry for you all right now. You are clearly a champion team but you've just got undone again in your most important 80 mins. Injuries definitely played a factor from a momentum and talent perspective. That said, it does pain me (a lot!) to say it but Wigan weren't to be denied - they deserved it.
Wire lick your wounds, and definitely watch the WHOLE 80 mins on replay if you can stomach it.... It'll make the day you finally win it even better - your day is coming! Not if but when...
Chin up, bring on 2014.
A rhino fan

| Thanks very much HR for the kind words, I am very lucky in the fact that I am able to get over things very quickly. Our rise over the few years definitely softens the blow for me. We'll come back next year and hopefully give it a good go round again. Wigan had us in the second half, we had nowhere to go and no fight left to give.

| Gutted for you guys, thought you were really unlucky tonight I think when Harrison, Joel Monaghan and Ratchford went off injured the team fell apart and who knows it could have been a different story if them three players didn't get injured, best of luck next season.

| Shame on Mozza, I have always thought he was a champion player and a champion bloke, why did he taunt the Wigan fans when Wire were winning 16 - 2? No longer a champion guy in my opinion.

| The day Warrington might win the Grand Final is the day they stop being so loyal to their veterans, They've allowed Morley & Hodgson to leave this season and thats a step in the right direction, Leeds and Saints also it's high time they ditched some of these so called superstars of their sides who have been great, great players but it's time to put them out to grass the sooner Michael Monaghan, Briers or Wellens for Saints, Peacock for Leeds are ditched then they might start winning things regularly. Wigan love them as I do or hate them as you do there's no denying that a bit of chop and change doesn't hurt it's all about the replacements. We've won four finals on the spin that we've reached since 2010, 2 cups and 2 Grand Finals speak loud and clear to the rest of Super League and we have chopped and changed every season since since 2010. Finch, Leuluai, Fielden, Hoffman, Lima, Hock etc you lose those types of players and you'd expect decimation which many did going into this season not so much now and probably will do again losing Tomkins, Richards, Mossop & Tuson but please doubt us again like you have done this season and please keep on doubting us.

| I thought SM in his summary called it correctly. 'turning points' are often referred to but there was a huge one in today's game. Wire flew up to charge down, it could easily have resulted in a try, 22 - 6 game over. Wigan got it, won collision then a penalty. Scored a try and it's 16 - 12 game on.
I hope Joel's ok, got his head in the wrong place. They said he went to hospital, i just hope it's concussion.

he openly admitted that he was bitter about us winning everything when he was younger and thats why he signed for warrington, just maybe a bit of immaturity coming through we are all guilty of it. His speech was a good one.

| Nice one HL. Really gutted but still proud of the Wire and the players and our club.
Hopefully one day the dream will be realised, some time soon with a bit of luck.

Are you suggesting that the rhinos are being too loyal to peacock - a top 3 nomination for 2013 MOS? Hmm. I think your recent success is more to do with your ability to replace leavers through the academy versus others. Well done.

| It's easy to be the voice of knowledge especially after taking the double, all respect to the pies, no doubt a great season. there is no need for knee jerking. As a Leeds fan I'm not worried at all and fancy our chances to keep picking up trophies in the coming seasons. I think peacock and Sinfield have plenty to offer. Sinfield has years left in him, JP 1 or 2.
Can Wigan back it up? Can Wire bounce back, will Saints be a force again? Are Hudds one season wonders? Can the Rhinos win a CC? It will be good to see.

For me, Peacock has been SLs best player this season, no matter how well Brough has played against all the sides; so you're talking e!

How am I talking poop I've never suggested that Peacock isn't a great player and hasn't had a great season but the fact Wire, Leeds & Saints are sticking with all these great players who are either stood on top of the hill or are already way over the hill is probably why Wigan are the double winners because we have got a much younger fitter squad than the rest. Tha was in clear evidence during the play offs that Wigan have got the best squad despite what the pundits will have everyone believe and clearly used our squad better look at the Wigan Leeds final eliminator there were a number of Leeds players that were either strapped up carrying knocks or just simply had nothing left to give whereas by full time Wigan had more than enough energy to go again a week later you couldn't say the same for Leeds you certainly couldn't say the same for Hull or Saints in their respective final games of the season. It's no coincidence that Wigan have dominated the reserves league for so long it's because we give our kids chances whereas other clubs don't apart from the odd one or two. Wigan are clearly not afraid of change Lenegan actually embraces it maybe it's high time for the rest of Super League to follow in our footsteps Wigan are happy for Sam to leave for Mossop to move on because we know we can replace with like for like and more often than not younger and capably better.
