| Can we sort this out during the week please? Huddersfield could have as many as they wanted last night if they'd executed/timed it better.
I have no intention of turning up at OT to see Matty Smith get the Harry Sunderland for kicking twenty in a game.

| Yes and vulnerability to the drop kick going into touch! Riley looked like he wanted the ground so open up and swallow him.

There was no excuse for that, he simply needed to move towards the ball and take it on the full. It wasn't a difficult catch but the earlier one he dropped wasn't difficult either.

Even if the ground had opened up to swallow him, it would have spat him straight back out. No one should have to swallow crap like that. Riley's decision-making was poor last night and his confidence is shot. I would play Evans in the final, but we won't do that.
Anyway, back to 40/20s - yes we are vulnerable in that area, but it's a tough skill to execute, so I'm not overly concerned. It's more of an issue to me how teams are able to find space behind us when they kick early in the count and turn us around. I think that's a very legitimate tactic against us - especilly in the wet. Turning us around close to our own line makes it a long way for us to go and we are prone to the odd error or brain-fart. It's quite negative, but it throws us a bit and I worry when teams pick up on it.

| actually Riley showed how to deal with it...put the kicker under pressure...he did this with Robinson and he kicked out on the full.
I have to agree Riley did look suspect on more than one occasion last night...short on confidence.

| i'd noticed earlier this year we appear to have done away with the two full backs thing we used to do in '11 and '12, that used to be perfect for dealing with kicks, not many teams managed to get around us, so not sure why we stopped doing that.

As well as putting Robinson under pressure he actually came flying out of the line at least once to nail the attacker when Hudds had the overlap. Its just a shame this is an exception to the rule.

| Has Riley been instructed not to drop back as often? Monaghan always seems to drop back. I first noticed this in the Saints game a few weeks ago. They constantly just kicked to the space riley should have been in.

| It's kind of a credit to our defence that teams are in the position on the field to be even attempting them.
