Does anyone have any information on which day we will play? Wigan Athletic are away to Man City on the Tuesday & Watford on the Saturday so there are no restrictions at the DW.

As the highest placed team shouldn't we get the longest lead in to the GF meaning we play on Thursday?

I will be massively p*ssed off if it's on Thursday.

I think there won't be a Thursday game for the Final Eliminator's.

For the 1st week of the play off's there were a lot of games to get played but there will not be a need now. I think we will be at home on the Friday & Wigan on the Saturday.

I think Sky announced weeks ago, that the semis will be on Thursday and Friday, regardless of who's in them
They've been promoting these Thursday night games since July, and a Grand Final eliminator (i.e. the week before the GF) was one of them. They plan their schedules months in advance.

Yes, I have just checked & I think you are right, Huddersfield are playing their play off game on Thursday next week.
It is now on our club website that we play either on the Thursday or Friday. I may not be able to make this match now because of work. I have been to every game this season that I possibly could & I may well miss the biggest game of the year

The rugbyleagueontv site has us down as playing on the Thursday. I'm working 'til 9pm every night that week Monday to Friday and have half days booked on the Wednesday for football and the Friday which I booked months ago in case we were in the semi that night. The Thursday didn't even occur to me, so I'm currently praying I can swap my Friday half day to Thursday when I go in tomorrow.

Thursday is a rubbish night to play but classic Sky interference.

The games are usually played in order so imagine we will be Thursday. Fingers crossed it is for mine, more time to prepare for the final should we get there.

You and I are in the exact same boat. I am working Late's & booked the Friday off months ago just in case. It didn't occur to me that I would need the Thursday. I will now have to go in to work and see if anyone will swap with me.

I'm in a different boat ( on a cruise ) but with the same dilemna. Anyone know if you can watch Skygo on a PC outside UK? To be precise we'll be sailing from Iceland to Oslo on the evening of 26th. As it's a cruise there isn't the option of finding a bar in a town.

I've been off work the last 3 weeks on a Thursday, I'm also off Thursday next week, the week after when we play I'm off at the weekend, god I really fkin hate Sky.

I'm just glad we won, because if we hadn't, we'd have played this coming Friday and I wouldn't be able to attend. I'm also glad that I'm in a 9-5 job with no weekend work as I don't have to worry about Sky and their usual fixture change. Feel sorry for the peeps that either work nights or weekends and end up missing quite a few games in a season.

I'm assuming now that we are 80 minutes away from the Grand Final, all the fans will come out of the woodwork and attend this game, claiming their "true fan" status.

It's 95% unlikely to get a swap at short notice for me but I'm going to try and call in a few favours I need to get to this semi final.

Of course I'll be at the final if we get there because I checked my rota ages ago and made sure of it, as I also made sure I'd be free on the Friday and Saturday of all play off weekends. Apologies for not running my rota by Sky first and taking Thursdays into account as well.
