| So good ole Shaun wants to try his hand in the NRL , something tells me that water carrying will be right up his street . . . . But the spandex and the bum bag maybe a liitle too much to bare , dream on Jabba.

| To be fair to him, it was a leading question and he said that he would like to try his hand in the best league in the world if the opportunity arose. He couldn't really turn around and state that he hasnt got any ambition.

| I was delighted when Wigan appointed Wane as I thought he'd be an old-fashioned, antiquated, sergeant-major of a coach with limited intellect who would soon find himself at the centre of squad disharmony.
I was wrong.
He's done a superb job and, what's more, has made Wigan a far more watchable side than they ever were under Maguire. His enthusiasm and pride for the sport and his home-town club are admirable.
I still want every other team to smash them though!

I agree, he seems to have galvanised his troops, fair play to him.

| Wane is a very good coach IMO.
Look at Wigans squad and apart from Tomkins how many of their players would you have in our squad, or Leeds or Huddersfield. They aren't as good man for man.
Whenever a club appoints an English coach with no experience the natural reaction is to say its a cheap appointment, its very difficult to prove yourself and you have to be winning from season one, the only one recently that ever did it at a big club was Noble. Fair enough Wane hasn't won a trophy yet but he's had them in pole position in the league since he's been in charge, without the best squad in the league. By Wigan historical standards this is a very ordinary Wigan team.
So hats off to Wane for what he has achieved, he has got them performing consistently, he has brought on young players and he has got the maximum out of the talent of players he has got - if he can do that he can be a good coach anywhere.

| Done a good job, no doubt about it. Wigan have been the best side this season to date by some margin.

| I like his old school attitude and his desire to win every game.
I bet he is not backwards in telling the players what he thinks from time to time although he is very much part of the team and protective of his squad.
In some ways he reminds me of Paul Cullen.
