on the back of those free views I bought a 6 months subscription to premier sports for just £30........

I was paying £25 quid a month for sky sports 1,2,and 3 for a bunch of tat I hardly ever watched.
Best decision ive made in ages to bin sky sports package and buy Premier...I still have sky sports news and Sky F1 channel so the question has to be asked what the feck was I paying that money for?........a couple of Rugby league games a week and on many occasions it involves a game I attended.........

Just settling down watching the Titans Vs radiers .... awesome stuff...

you got up at 3am and Watched Titans V Raiders did you...? I sky plussed it and watched it at my leisure in my front room on my big feck off TV on excellent quality (despite it not being HD). pausing it numerous times for snacks and drinks.

you watch Live free streams on your lap top or desktop and try and pretend its as good as paying for a professional TV channel.
A £30 quid one off payment didnt touch the sides, how anyone can try and say I havent got value for money is amazing it piddles all over a whole season of free streams, they are great for watching a bit of sneaky Tv but not better than a Real TV channel not in anyones world except maybe Stevie Wonders.

If you use file sharing sites instead, at best you'll get about 5 games all season if your lucky. melbourne v st george the only one available so far.

I'm fully up to speed on being a sneaky so and so on the T'internet, but sometimes free stuff is simply is a bit poop.

Although the NRL is obviously a more competative league than ours, I find SL a lot more "easy on the eye" than the Aussie comp.
The Aus season is only 2 weeks old, and (I've been watching on t'internet) I find myself drifting in and out of games (making a coffee, starting my pre-golf brekkie). It just doesn't "grip" me, like SL does.

If your happy watching NASCAR, ice-hockey and Gaelic footie, good on yer. I'll stick with front row sports

yeah I can understand that to a certain extent. I wouldnt Watch Melbourne Storm if they were playing in my front garden.........they are the anti Rugby of the rugby league world.
In their own forty they do one of two things run from dummy half or first reciever hit ups.........they do not deviate from that ever...once past the forty they may "mix it up" with a deep kick downtown or do a quick dummy half run and Cooper cronk dummys a pass wide and then he goes inside to a second row running at pace........ its like watching Celebrity Juice, the same people doing the same and the same people falling for it week after week.

already two games in commentors are using the same phrase "Melbourne stick to their processes so well" its fancy talk for "jesus they're boring".

In the press release regarding the new 5 year deal, it said no free viewing on betting sites. So it's an exclusive deal.

If the legal bet365 streaming of NRL hasn't ended yet, I'm sure it will soon.

As for those illegally streaming, if everyone had that attitude it couldn't be aired, and the game would die due to no TV money. How would you feel if your boss said "I don't know why I pay you to be honest?"

I've heard that ustream . tv have the rights to stream NRL legally (there is a small charge though)
