| Anyone help me out and advise me on getting the train on Friday, always drove but thought I would get the train this year! Which station to and from, how long the walk is etc... Thanks in advance
Ps. I cannot wait for Friday! Hope it's a typically brutal encounter!

| Bank Quay-Wigan North Western, takes ten minutes. If you want a drink turn right out the station and there are a few pubs, if not left under the railway and walk through an industrial unit type place, you will probably just be able to follow the crowd. The walk is about 10-15 minutes depending on how busy it is- there are a few bottlenecks on the way back. Return train is 1058 if memory serves.

| Trains back to Bank Quay, 22.23 - 10 mins journey
22.36 - 10 mins
23.14 - 11 mins.
Fare £5.50 but you'll probably have to book in advance of Friday. Best to check on that!

| As soon as you come out of Wigan North western station, cross the road as it is easier to do it here. Turn left under the railway bridge. Follow the main road away from the town centre.
After 10 mins you go over a canal bridge. On the other side turn right onto the tow path, past the back of B&Q and you will come to the stadium. You will see the floodlights miles away and there will be plenty of other walkers.
should take around 15-20 mins from the station.
