The official dance team of the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation are already preparing for the new season and will be holding auditions for new dancers aged 15+ for their Elite Squad.
The auditions will take place on Tuesday 8th January from 6pm – 7.30pm at Soccer Warrington.

It does seem strange that with all the massive improvements the club's made both on & off the field, we have the most shambolic, embarrassing, amateurish, cringeworthy half time entertainment in professional sport!

[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Appreciate that it appears that I'm swimming against the tide with this but I don't think the point of the Fusion Dancers is necessarily that we have an amazing dance troupe on match days. I think the point is that it gives young people the chance to be involved in something a bit different, exercise, and mix with other kids their own age. It's a community thing. I think the club places that above having a load of fitties dancing seductively to pusscat dolls songs just to give you a cheap thrill with your half time pint.
As an aside, I'm sure all the girls who do take part do their best - describing them as you have is, in a manner of speaking, a bit harsh.

Well Moving, Duff and Stewie, you know what they say.......................if you can do better !!!
As 77 states, its not about copying the Dallas Cowboys or creating a fall-back for Stringfellow rejects, its about getting youngsters involved in the club. OK, they may not be the best dancers in the world but at least they give it a go and then when they hang up their dancing shoes, continue to come back every game to support the team.

I agree with the last two posts. The earlier ones are childish, embarassing and very unfair on the youngsters concerned. The Foundation does great things in the community and should be encouraged, not mocked.

Yes, all that community engagement work done by the Foundation is a disgrace. The club working actively within the town and giving youngsters something to do during their free time is an absolute embarrassment.
Words fail me.

It's just an opinion I hold. If you find it childish then that's your opinion also. We're all entitled to one. And yes says I find it disturbing that children are being taught to dance in a sexy way in front of the south stand.
I'm sure the club can achieve all of their 'community club aims' by having the fusion dancers being the second stringers until they are old enough to make the move into the 1st team. Who could actually look professional.

Lollerskates - on page 1 you wanted the "sh*t" kids to be replaced with proper dancers. Now on page 2, after being hammered, you want those same kids to be replaced because you find it "disturbing". Subtle. |
