Off to Bulls for season long loan

If true, good luck to Matty he is one sound guy,as a bloke I like him a lot

I thought he put in some great performances in the 2011 season, and was expecting him to be pressing for a regular spot in the 17 this season.

Shame it didn't happen (for whatever reason)and hope he continues to develop.

Thing is with the season long loan he'll probably play every week, so hopefully his game will kick on, he's limited to action here which won't help him improve.

If he does well he'll come back, if not then good luck in your new club, you're a top lad and your effort was never lacking.

It's unfortunate for Matty... A few years ago he'd of gone on to become a regular. Second Yed's comments about developing further at the Bulls. Good deal all round IMO.

Good luck to lad but I don't see him coming back. As a centre I don't think I have ever seen him pass the ball to the winger.

I really like Matty and think he'll have a great season at Bradford. Aged 23, he's never had regular rugby at the top level and I think next season will be massive for him.

He'll have no problem getting in our first team. He'll build experience with us for a season, which will help him a lot. Sure he'll develop his skill and come back to you in 2014 as a better player.

Best compliment I could pay Matty is that I'd completely forgotten how young he still is; his reading of the game and application/effort shame many a more seasoned player.

Can only wish him all the best at the Bulls for next year .......

I guess TS is looking at Rhys, Chris B, Ryan and Stef in the centres.
Matty is a centre come 2nd rower so I can understand why he's gone on loan.
I still think he's a future at Wire, but he needs regular game time which he'll get at Bulls.

Feel for Matty as he's a nice lad and he is Warrington born. Is this move to allow some of the U20's to move up or to bring a player in? I hope he still has a future at our club.

We have a queue of players waiting to come into the side, so I agree with Yed, this will allow Matty to play week in week out at SL level. If he had stayed, he would be unlikely to play enough games to kick on as a player and prove his worth. So I think this is a true win win for Bradford and Wire.

Really hope he makes it, as everybody has said, he is a really nice guy.
