It's about time that Steve Prescott, a great human being got true recognition for his unstinting Charity Work and his sheer courage and determination.

If enough likes are obtained, I intend to contact the MP for St Helens, to make him aware of the campaign and to at least open up discussion with fellow MP's to lobby for a Knighthood for Steve.

was it Colin Welland who said about Brian Bevan.
"....had he been A Cricket player he would have been knighted, had he been a footballer he would have received an MBE, He was neither and so got none".
Steve Prescott certainly deserves a knighthood more than anyone I could think of, but I wouldn't hold my breath, he was deemed not worthy to carry an Olympic torch but Didier drogba and a girl that lost ten stone were............!!
