Chris Riley will never let us down. I have been a fan of his since he hit the first team. Anyone recall who made the important yards at headingly in that play off to give Briers the chance to win the game ?
He has seen off a number of establish wingers and exciting hopefuls and cemented his place in a team that is now winning trophies

Played on the same team as him at junior level, Longshaw street rangers. He was off a stick back then too. Really nice lad and I am happy he went on to do such great things.

Slightly mis-leading thread title. Whilst Riles can claim to be on a par with John, I'd hardly say he was 'up there' with Brian (even on this particular stat), given he's took twice as long as the Great Bev to the ton!!
