Last night was my best RL night ever, like many on this board I have followed the P& B for many years, always hoping always praying we could do it, well last night we did it.

It was my best ever game because it means so much, we beat our arch rivals on their ground when are backs were to the wall. For years we have been the nearly team that always fell at the last hurdle, the team that others laughed at for our inability to do it in the massive games. We have won 3 CC which has been wonderful but for me reaching the G/F was the Holy Grail.

I was at all but one of those defeats by Saints over that Hoodoo period and each hurt so very much, last season we blitzed all before us but fell short when it mattered. At the HJ 2 weeks ago when the Saints fans were mocking us by singing 'its always your year' really stung me. But when I was walking away from the ground I knew that if we got to play Saints again in the Semi then we would beat them because we are the far better team.

Last night was my greatest night in all my years of watching Warrington.

and if you can manage the double next Saturday then you will top that and the Wires will be up there with the great times.

Hope the final is as good as the 2 semis. May the best team win.

Best match I have ever been too, atmosphere was immense. Why Thaler got a semi-final I will never know, he is shocking. Hoping Child or Ganson will get the final. Although I know Gansons son and he's a Leeds fan... Hmmmm

hard to call between this and the widnes semi that gave us the right to go to wembley in 2009 - both amazing games and it was great to be there

Been starved for so long only seen Wires lift the Lancs Cup And the Regal Trophy before 2009 and the recent Challenge cup wins...
Knew as soon as Tony Smith came on board we would be strolling out at major finals and long may it continue thats what i say..............Looking forward to the future not living in the past!!!
