Just wondered what major changes we need if we are ever to properly compete for the Grand Final?

Morley, Hodgson, Briers too old?

Too many players living off good performances who have been out of form for a while (Bridge, Atkins)?

Dare I say it do we need a new coach who can win on the big occasion not lose it in the playoffs?

Do we need to start pacing ourselves through the season and finish lower in the league / get knocked out of the Challenge Cup earlier so we have more left in the tank at this stage of the season?

I know if Saints beat us tonight there will be lots of things rotten at the club but surely we can see them now and don't need to lose tonight to recognise them...?

We are already a big club !
Things will always need changing around big or small we are in the big two imo with Leeds as the two teams whom are consistently winning silverware every season grand final is the smaller trophy to CC as you only have at most four rounds but we do need to break the hoodoo ! If we can get there we will win it !

We are a big club players want to come and play for us and win things.

Won't be a big club until we can somehow prove that our youth system is working.

Please don't make me laugh. People say Hull are a big club and look at their youth policy (or lack of it). Warrington are a big club.

All played 1st team this yr and come from the u-20s.Gentle hasnt been afraid to blood the youngsters after the previous regime didnt play them and the facilities shocking...we know we have to improve our youth and we are doing but the RFL coming up with daft ideas doesnt help.

You mean the daft ideas that your chairman and Hudgell voted for to save you both money? If you have blooded youngsters then why bring in the deadwood you did at the start of this year?

Win a trophy 4 years on the bounce
Have a hoodoo over Saints at their own stadium

In the last decade or so they've produced Horne, Cooke, Yeaman, King, Briscoe etc, better players than we have produced.

may be true,but wire have simon moran wouldnt swap him for anyone,,worth more than those mentioned above

fishing..... we don't catch enough fish... we have the mersey, the manchester ship canal and the mersey.... we should be taking advantage of these waters.

maybe then we can be a big club.
