| wonder what team the great man will put out for our last 2 league games..i personally think we`ll see a london type team for these games and no doubt the moaners will be on here whineging should we get beat..just remember we have bigger fish to fry and with 1 trophy locked away i dont want to see key members of the squad injured for irrelevant games against hudds and widnes..

| I think we should try for the LLS again. It's still do-able if Wigan slip up against HKR or Saints and we don't against Hudds or Widnes. As much silver as possible, please.

| Makes it more interesting if it goes to the last game of the season though, innnit?
I don't really enjoy watching them get beaten, even for "the greater good" of what might or might not happen in the playoffs and I'd be a bit disappointed if we threw away the chance of the LLS (which is silverware, regardless of perceived value or non-value) for the chance of a good play offs run, and then bombed out again. We're a great team - why not try and have it all?

| I think it will be fringe players for Hudds with a much stronger side for Widnes to give us rolling start into the play-offs

| Need to play your best 13 for me,now its all about consistency the team playing as a team.
No major changes needed, the only change for me after this weekend, is leave Brett out for the last two league games.
He has proven what a gamebreaker he is,something we will need in the play offs.
As for the LLS let Wigan enjoy winning that mediocre shield.we have already won one of the two big ones.

| Against The Giants I think TS will play Grix, Coops, Big Dave, Rhys Evans, Bridgey, Matty Blythe and perhaps Ben Currie or Brad Dywer. Giving all a chance to get their names on the play-offs team sheet.
Then against Widnes, TS will play the team that will contest all the play off games.

Editted for accuracy.
Personally i think Wigan will secur it against HKR and then rest players. I think a lot of players will be rested against Huddersfield and then any still carrying bruises for the Widnes game. Will be thoroughly miffed though if Hogson gets another rest, I think that guy lies down too much and play acts his way through games [size(comment taken from the Jiffy Davies guidebook to stupid commentator recaps of your own career)[/size

| Why would Wigan have to lose both if we win both? I don't get your maths.
If Wigan win at HKR, they go in front by 3. We beat Hudds, it's back to 1. Then they lose to Saints, and we beat Widnes, that puts us in front by 1 point, no? Meaning we top the table.

Wigan are currently three points ahead of us, not one. If they beat Hull KR at the weekend - which they will - they will win the LLS no matter what we do.
Our next two games are basically pre season friendlies to prepare for the fixtures that matter after them. Tony Smith knows more than I do so he can pick whatever teams he sees fit. I don't care what the results are.

If Wigan beat HKR they go 5 points clear, not 3.
Wigan need to lose twice and us win twice for us to reclaim the LLS.

| id rest a few for next game then full team for second momentum is not only important during the game.
I feel we win next 2 and will be in good stead for playoffs id hate for us to rest too many and be flat footed going into playoffs

| I can see Myler being rested as he was taken off in the 2nd half with a leg injury. Westwood also got a slight knock at the end of the game.
