| I am trying to open an item in PDF. I was at one point able to do this, but now cannotopen it, when I try it opens up the document in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. can anyone help please. - sorry i'm not very techy !!

| Presuming you still have adobe reader here, right click whatever it is your after seeing, go down to open with then choose choose program look for adobe reader in the list but before you click it do this put a tick in the box that says always use the selected program to open this type of file and it should open with adobe reader each time.

| It gives me no options only open and save as. Ihave just looked though my programmes installed and only have Adove Flash player 11 and Adobe Flash Player plug in. So do I need to install Adobe on its own ???

| It is certainly worth trying to reinstall adobe acrobat reader...
If you find it is already installed, or your file still opens in Picture Manager, then it is likely to be that the .PDF file extension has become associated with Picture Manager rather than Adobe.
To reinstate the correct association, go the the file via Windows Explorer and RIGHT click on it. Select the option 'open with'. Locate Adobe Acrobat (it should appear on the list, but if it doesn't browse to the directory in Program Files and select the main program file). MAKE SURE THE 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file' IS TICKED.
Click 'Ok' and you should then be good to go!!

Think I need to install it, does anyone have a link for a free one or do I have to purchase it.
