Surely TS will see the next two matches as must win games and pick his strongest 17 ?

There are quite a few problems though. If we don't play Solo and Myler they will not be match fit for Huddersfield. Catalans are a big side though, so I would prefer to see Grix than Myler. But then you could argue that the Huddersfield match is more important so perhaps they should play ?

Bridge is a concern as his form has dropped off, but I think I would try to 'play him through' his bad patch. You could argue that we are wasting Ratchford's talent by putting him on the bench, he has been really impressive since his return.

One thing that strikes me though is that one way or another, we are likely to see whether Wire are capable of winning silverware after these next two matches

I would honestly consider dropping Bridge he hasn't really hit any form all year, and we can't afford for Bridge to lose the ball like he has been doing in the next 2 games.

I think Grix has had an injury the last few weeks so might not play

I think Bridge is really struggling with the tendinitis in his knee now. It's confirmed that he needs an operation but they were waiting until the end of the season.

Unfortunately it's affecting his form too much now, maybe he needs a rest again to see if it helps, or go for the operation sooner.

The challenge cup semi should take priority.

The league will take care of itself.

Should we lose, I'm sure that whatever side he picks will be a terrible insult to the people that turned up.

I'd go for Ratchford in place of Bridge.

Play the game infront of you and your strongest team. It is imperative that we beat Catalans to secure a top 2 finish.

After all, we don't travel well to Cats/Stains, do we.

We should not put preference on the Hudds game.

We MUST beat Cats on Monday, and then, put our strongest possible side out against Hudds, the week after.
The season is starting to reach it's end now. We can't get complacent. Let's be greedy. Win every game left, this season.

Bridge without question is struggling, be it for form or fitness (or both). That said, there's something niggling me about playing Ratchford at centre, I'm just not sure his defence is good enough to play centre where decisions tend to come at you thick & fast, I think a good side would have him making the wrong ones.

I'd keep Bridge at centre, Ratchford either alongside Briers in the halves, or at worst on the bench to cover fullback/centre/halves.

According to the Guardian, Grix is definitely out for the next two weeks, but it sounds as though everybody else will be available.

So a strong side on paper, let's hope we get a high intensity game that's error free.
