Grix is injured. Hodgson has been, but is expected to play for the Exiles on Wednesday so must be just about fit. Everybody else has probably been rested unless there are some injuries we don't know about. |

This is exactly what you get with a play off system. What does it matter if we lose this game? Nothing. We will be easily be in the top 4 and the important thing is to have a fresh team for the play-offs, Tony Smith knows this hence the team picked. I keep saying it, the league is filled with meaningless games that i for one am not prepared to pay for.

Pretty much sums things up perfectly.
Last season we blew teams away and finished top but blew it in the playoffs.
Moral of the story is finish top 4, ideally top 2 and keep players fresh for the play offs. |

I understand where everybody is coming from in regard to the top 4 and the playoffs but what does picking a team this undercooked and bringing back all these players back from injury do for momentum and moral. Perhaps we haven't got the strength in depth we think we have even taking into account match fitness, form etc. We shouldnt be this bad wheres the leadership and direction on the pitch ?
