I see from the website that we have two more youngsters out on dual registration; Bradley Brennan and Ryan Duffy.

I have only seen Bradley play once but he looked a strong forward and is pretty mobile. Ryan I have seen on several occasions. He looks like an old fashioned prop with the gait to match. He certainly doesn't look like a greyhound when he runs, but I have been really impressed with him. He is strong taking the ball forward and looks pretty fearless to me. He certainly doesn't shirk the work in defence either, and there have been very few occasions when he hasn't stopped his man. He is a strong lad.

They are both going to Barrow who are top of Championship 1, so that looks a little unfair to the rest of the league to me !!. I will be interested to see how they get on, I have been following their match reports anyway to see how Shaw has been doing since he was loaned to them. He has been kicking a lot of goals.

I was just wondering where these two came from as Barrow is a decent way from Warrington. Shaw is from Walney Island so only down the road from Barrow.

Pretty certain Duffy is form Wigan way whilst Brennan from the St Helens area.

Just to wander slightly O/T, whilst we seem to have an embarrassment of riches at U20 level we don't seem to be ripping up trees at U15, 16, and 18 level. I know that at such an early age it is difficult to know how good they will be, but should we be concerned that the start of our 'talent conveyor belt' is not as good as it should be ?
