| What happened in the 2nd half tonight?? Last week against HKR we let a huge lead slip and then tonight even though we were in control the 2nd half looked to be going away from us again, thankfully it didn't. Is it when we build up a lead we think no-one can touch us?? I don't think the weather was a huge leveller, given the way we threw the ball around in 1st half but in the 2nd half it seemed a bit scratchy and if Leeds had scored another try then it could all slip from us.
Very pleased with the win ad the way we played in the 1st 40 mins tonight but just bothered if we do this against other teams it will come back to bite us!!

| Conditions played a big part,
1st half wind and rain behind us, 2nd against, makes a big difference

| I don't think we looked in danger of letting this one slip like last week and Briers was sensible enough to kick the drop goal just to make doubly sure. I think the conditions were certainly worse in the second half and we were playing into the wind then which probably did have some effect as our kicking game was much better in the first half. We did look flat whilst attacking for a lot of the second half. There were a lot of players standing still whilst when receiving the ball near the Leeds line. Maybe the loss of Hodgson, or even just a loss of concentration caused this, but our attack was definitely sharper in the first half.

| It was good to see Lee kick the drop goal, game management is the current phrase, although TS didn't look happy with the decision.

| Apart from playing into the wind, Leeds tightened up their defence, played much better & Burrow had more impact from hooker than he had from half back in the first half

| Think being scoreless 2nd half against kr and 20mins gone lastnight 2nd half without a score could of been the reason for the drop goal. If I was the coach of this team I wouldn't be happy with a one pointer either

| Remember that Leeds struggled against the elements in the first half, and we played the elements much better in the second half. I thought it was an excellent performance.

| The job was done after 30 mins- The team clocked off whilst Leeds needed to gain some pride.(add in the conditions) Easy win against a very poor team

| I honestly thought Leeds played okay.
Also worth noting that we got caned by Thaler on the penalty count and I don't think we even got a penalty until about the 65th minute.

| Some of the pens given to Leeds were pathetic IMO, looks like Thaler had been instructed to try and even things up for the benefit of the tv audience.

| Was a few dodgy calls in that game. Have to watch it back again but im sure there was a moment when a Leeds player spilled the ball and another Leeds players caught it a few metres in front.

There's a first! Me agreeing with Colin. There were quite a few grapple tackles from the Loiners tonight, and they only ever got penalised for holding down in the tackle when the result was a foregone conclusion.

| Got to agree with Teesside and **shudder** Colin.
Grapple Tackles
Phantom KNock ons
A clear offside
High Tackles
and Lying on was rife from Leeds.
Was also a little hard on a few Wire players at times.
