I know there's a few fans on here, so who went to see them at the Parr Hall yesterday?

Ryan Atkins and Tyke apparently (according to Twitter).

Gig organised by Mr Moran.

I was there. That was a piece of Warrington and musical history.

Atkins and Tyke were sat up to the left hand side of the audience, as was Liam Gallagher.

I was there; it was unreal. I cycled to work yesterday expecting just another normal day and I still can't take in how it all ended up.

Best atmosphere I've ever experienced at a gig. The oh Warry Warry that went up at the end was better than most matches.

I'm sore today. Sore and Tired. With a headache. And it feels like I've took a dig to the ribs. I can barely talk either. Happy days.

I've not got tickets for Heaton Park, I was planning on picking some up the week before but I don't think I'm going to bother now. I can't see how it would top last night.

Well theres 5 of the 1000 crowd accounted for. No doubt in 10 years time we'll have 100,000 claiming to have been at the Parr Hall last night, just like the vastly over-rated Spike Island gig. Warm ale and cack sound.

Said that myself, happily I'll always have the wristband to prove it.

My companion's mum works at Tesco, she was baffled as to why so many people were coming in asking for Stone Roses CDs. Part-timers.

I was a late comer to the Stone Roses. I went to Uni between 1997 and 2000 and mate of mine, Morgan, was well into them. He's from London and it was still cool to be into Northern things then. The first time I ever listened to the first album was when I pulled a girl one night and she put it on. [I have at least 2 jokes to finish this post but it's probably not appropriate for a family forum.] From Blackburn she was. Absolute "worldie" but so miserable that we nicknamed her Meldrew. Worst still, she had a picture of her and Alan Shearer in her room. Wonder what she's doing now?

*memories*

Go on Ian, dish the dirt. I love nothing more than stories about Blackburn brass.
