He's not played since 30th March v Saints ! Reason being a neck injury , it must be really serious to keep him side lined for this amount of time ! Anyone in the know who's got a clue what he has done is it career ending or is it his eyes again ?
Monnas also seems to be struggling as well

No Myler,No Ratchford, and no solo but sitting 3rd in Super League and in the Semi Finals of the challenge cup is not a bad place to be is it ??
Dont wanna sound Negative but we also need to look at life without Moz!!Been a great player but i dont think we have got the 2009-10 Morley back in our side just yet and we are not going to get him back any time soon...
Hope it is nothing to serious though..

I've heard it mentioned somewhere, possibly on here, that Moz was involved in a car crash and is suffering from whiplash/neck injury relating to this, apparently the third party that crashed into Moz was a car full of youths who scarpered after the crash

I also heard that rumour before the Salford game, the crash was in Salford and Moz had a couple of mates with him in the car.

If I crashed my car into Moz I'd scarper. I've got visions of him chasing them all the way down the M62.

Section 4, parra 6, line 8 of Moz's contract states quite clearly..
" The player mentioned above hereby agrees never to get injured and will be available for all contracted matches"
To be serious though, Moz is not the player he was 2-3 years ago. He was arguably the best forward of his generation in the English game and in addition to his on-field play, must have done an enormous amount behind the scenes to help our juniors, and the club grow and gain success. But he is very close to retirement, and I really wonder if he will be here next year, or if perhaps he will be in Oz ?
He has definitely been missed during his injury, but this will also have had a benefit in that others will have had to step up and play a leadership role. Also it allows space for the 'squad' players and upcoming juniors to get a game, so it's not all bad news. Lets hope we can win one of the major trophies this year to give him a fitting reward, wherever he ends up in 2012. |

Don't think this post is saying he's not allowed to be injured, nor questioning previous performances, I think Padders just wanted to know further details. It's pretty common for a fan to want to know as much details as possible regarding key aspects of the club.

TS mentioned last week that both Moz and Monas were close to full fitness and he considered including them in the squad for Catalan. Maybe a smoke screen but perhaps we may see one/both of them next weekend.
There was a short interview with Stephan Ratchford in LE yesterday who says he could be back for the beginning of June.
