| Touch wood its some positive news tomorow when they make an announcement about the debt to the media, even though Leeds were without Burrow and McGuire it was still a great win for Bradford.
The last i heard they had raised around £380k, still a bit short of the £500k they need but they will have quite a chunk of tonights gate to go on top.

| We need ALL our clubs to remain solvent.
Football are finding it tough, but, when one of them comes close to the wall (Rangers, Portsmouth, etc) it's a tragedy, and on the 6 o'clock news. If it happens in our game, it's "(s) let's all laugh at Rugby League, one of their clubs is goiung to go bust......pathetic aren't they" ...well that's the feeling I get from the tone of their voice.
Good luck Bradford. I for one, hope you pull through. There'll certainly be a CEO we shared, who'll have his fingers crossed, upstairs.

| I went to the game, [doing my bit for the cause] packed stadium, atmosphere a little flat but it was a tense game and foookin freezing, lot of emotion around though, the announce guy even started crying when he was going on about the club.
Paid for my ticket, bought a programme and put £35 in a collection bucket. Would hate us to lose Bradford as a club.

| But Bradford's debt is a drop in the ocean compared to the millions owed by many well known football clubs which the banks cannot afford to make bankrupt.

| Didn't see any clubs chucking money in buckets for us when we were struggling !
Didn't see any clubs helping Widnes out when they went bust !
Didn't see any clubs helping out Oldham when they went bust !
It maybe a controversial opinion but Bradford if they are not a viable club should go into administration and start from the bottom up !
I also believe the RFL knew about this when the licences were allocated and grabbed the stadium off Bradford to get their money back before they lost it when Bradford go bust

Last year Man City player wage bill was £ 133m - total income was £ 125m. Football clubs run under different financial protocols - unless a creditor decides to pull the plug

Yeah deffo, although I don't think the RFL were aware of just how severe Bradfords problems were. I reckon Bradford have kept that under their hat while all the Wakefield/Celtic licence problems rumbled on. Now that they have their licence for the next 3 years they can reveal all this and use the goodwill of their awesome fans (as well as fans across the board) to do their jobs for them by raising the cash to keep the club in business.

Man City lose £7m per game, its staggering when you think about it.
