Showed maturity beyond his years lastnight. never missed a tackle and was always ready to take ball in. Brilliant for a 17 yr old and never looked out of his depth.

He played the full eighty, which for a 17 year old kid it's pretty awesome.

Without being flash and with restricted ball I thought he was impressive last night, very solid and I reckon he must have made 35+ tackles.

A great 1st game from Ben, he can only get better & better & better. lets remember this lad is not yet old enough to vote. Looks like we will have three Super Bens in our team.

He was always a stand-out player- I have watched him since he was a kid down at Golborne, and he is just getting better and better. The Pies really lost out there, just wouldn't offer him what he was worth so lost him. I reckon it will come back to bite them big time when he tears it up against them

For a 17 year old kid making his debut i thought he looked composed throughout the game, your first team debut will always be the hardest game to get through due to the nerves and not wanting to let anyone down. He came through with flying colours, he looks a great prospect.

looked very comfortable playing in the first team,the future is looking bright with several youngsters coming through

i liked the bit in teh first half where he did that show and go and nearly broke through the line.
