Makes no sense for him to return at the moment. Unless we lose Briers and Myler together, he would just be put back in the 20s so no point.

I think as soon as the one months loan has passed, the arrangement turns into a week-by-week loan with us able to re-call him at any time. For this reason, I see no reason why we wouldn't allow him to stay with Widnes and gain SL experience. Maybe there will be a clause saying that he can't play against us next week!

The feel from Widnes (Betts / Cullen etc) is that you will take him back to cover Easter (inc Challenge Cup) but that we are hopeful to get him back after that and are talking on that front.

It's mutually beneficial for Wire that GO'B stays at Widnes, he's gettting game time against SL teams rather than battering teams in the 20's.
As long as he's not cup tied and doesn't play against us, win win.

Makes sense. If we pick up some injuries v Saints - he could well feature against you next Thursday! Or, we may take him to Catalans for Easter Monday when a few fresh bodies may be required. |

I see on his profile that it says "Birthplace-Warrington", yet Widnes fans seem to think of him as one of their own, come home to play for his home town club.
