I was able to go to this game and really enjoyed the experience and match but I never took my Glasses so couldn't see as much when the play was at the other end. Excellent turnout & support from the Wire fans. For me the game was ours for the taking and if we had been more 'steady' at important times then we would have won. For example at 12 -12 with 20 seconds before half time Lee was in front of their sticks, why oh why didn't he take the one point. To have gone in 12 - 13 up after being 12 -0 down would have put down a marker for Leeds to think about during the break. Again when the score was 18 - 18 we had a kick-able penalty which we choose to run, shortly after Leeds went up the other end and Sinfield kicked a Pen giving them the advantage.

We play an expansive open game which the rain didn't help. You can't fully see it on the T/V but it did rain quite heavily during the game.

We played a virtual full strength Leeds whilst we had Monas M, Ben H, Big Dave & Brett all out and we lost Gaz & Ratch during the game. Yet we ran Leeds very close, we will again finish above Leeds this year.

Ratch. 8. Had to go off with a shoulder injury but up top that point played well.
Riles. 7. Soild in defence, good wing play.
Matty. 8. Scored a try at a crucial time, I have been impressed with Matty's aggression when making a tackle & taking the ball forward.
Ryan. 6. No bigger fan of Ryan than me but not his best.
Joel. 7. At 1st look Joel didn't do much but he did keep Ryan Hall quiet, who many are saying is one of the worlds best.
Lee. 8. Worked hard and did his best to take us around the field. Picked up a knock early in the game.
Richie. 6. Game may well have turned out different if Richie grounded the ball or kicked it out before Leeds scored their try.
Moz. 8. Good game from Moz. Led his team and never took a backward step.
Mickey. 7. Tackled his heart out.
Gaz. 6. Gaz tweeted that this is one he will want to quickly forget.
Trent. 8. Played for 75 minutes and worked his socks off.
Super Ben. 8. Same as Trent really, took his try well with strength & power.
Woody. 6. Woody is far far better than last nights performance.

Coops. 7. A few mistakes by Coops, but this could be said about virtually every one of our players.
Simon. 8. Good 1st game back, he will soon be back to his best.
Tyke. 8. I thought Tyke played well when he came on in the 2nd half.
Hilly. 9. Our MOM, his try was sheer power.

Finally I want to again mention the numbers we travelled in and the support our fans showed.
It took our Coach 2 hours to do the 45 miles to Leeds, apparently the Double Decker 'Fun Bus' took over 2 hours 30 minutes.

These rating are FAR too high. Waterhouse and Hill were our best for me.

I fully admit I wear the most Primrose & Blue glasses available.

But in reality I don't think the marks are 'FAR' too high.
What are your scores? also I am not being sarcastic but were you at the match ? The perspective you get from being at the game is different to watching on Sky

Yes I was. I'd take the ratings down by two or just one in some cases. They're in line with eachother alright but I just don't see how the vast majority of the team deserved 7's and 8's.

imo the the ratings are quite fair considering the defensive effort they put in, a warrington team under paul cullen dropping so much ball would of possibly conceded 40 points plus , also the team had to be reshuffled when ratch went off

Even "Super Ben" came out and said he wasn't happy with the way he played. But still give him an 8?

Its Illegal and an offence to give Super Ben less than an 8 and I won't do it.

I think Ben's attack was at least a 6/10

10+6 = 16 divided by 2 = 8/10. Sounds fair!

Indeed although we was in Leeds for 6 45 just took 45minutes to reach the ground! Awful place get through.

Working late so I only managed to watch it on telly. Really enjoyed the game considering the result and Myler's daft mistake for the try. I though Carvell let us down a bit, but with that said, he's hardly ever had a bad game for us.

Do you think that with one of Bridge, Hodgeson or M Monaghan playing, we'd have won? I thought it was that close.

If only more fans were as honest!
