| Just wanting your guys opinion on Joel. The guy can be a world beater on his day but watching him on the sky games this year i don't think he injects himself into the game as much as his opposite winger Riley does. Is it just that the centre inside of him isn't giving him much ball? Would it be a fair point saying he is better in defence rather than attack? Not criticizing the lad, just want to see more of him in a game. Your thoughts?

| it has to be the 2nd option with blythe playing as his centre, much rather see a talented centre like ryhs evans who has been named in the england knights squad instead of blythe.

| Not set the world alight this season, riley has been the better winger so far.

| When you look at backs especially wingers you comment on there assets, their strong points etc.
As an example, Josh Charnley is blessed with pace and elusiveness, Ryan Hall is blessed with pace, strength and the ability to finish in impossible looking situations, again Chris Hicks was the same he was a world class finisher.
I'm yet to see what Joel Monaghan's strengths and strong points are, last year was a difficult year for him both in his personal life and having to move to a new country and a new team, he played well in spells last year but this year he really needs to kick on because at the level were trying to aim for you can't carry passengers.

| Hasn't seen as much ball in attack as last year for some reason plus he was playing outside Blythe yesterday who is not as creative as Bridge. Another thing is that Riley is quicker of the mark so when scooting for example he comes across as being more busy. Riley has been better so far but sure Joel will be up and running soon.

dont think thats that fair i think joel was probably in the top 2 wingers in the league last year, strengths: awesome in defense, comfortable and dominant under the high ball, good strength and also started to show good pace towards the end of the year. could also rely on him whether it was a small game or a final.

| Whenever I watched him in the NRL (under 10 games), he played in the centres. For me, when I seen him then, his strengths were strong running, outstanding defence and excellent hands, much like Matt King. I've yet to see Joel's 'skills' in terms of offloading and footwork, maybe moving him to centre would bring that out of him? When Evans is back, maybe we should go with Riley and Evans out wide, moving Bridge to loose again?

| Joel gave us some memorable moments last year. I think it was Cas at home when he socred that remarkable try from a kick. I can't see us having Bridge at loose, takes too much away from his natural game and attributes.

| im sure once the grounds harden up he'll show his true colours. i have every confidence he will come good, its a long season after all, and he'll peak.
Fair play to Riley though, he has taken his opportunities when they have come along, probably why evans never got a game on fri

| Higham didn't do much wrong for me apart from not being Michael Monaghan
Myler foooked up a couple of times but again not his worst performance
Carvell-gash
but for me it was a series of things and just didn't click together.

| I think he should be playing where he would be best and that is right centre (his preferred position) and where he played for Canberra. But it seems nowadays teams want to out jump defences for tries rather than beat them with speed

Not quite.
It's the bit in which we search high and low for a new position for Chris Bridge, in order to help another player who is doing fine.
