| Having been to every Perpignan game (away) including the playoffs and Barcelona I have decided this year is the one I’ll miss thanks to the Monday fixture, I know quite a few make a week of it so that shouldn’t bother them but I have never had to use a holiday for this fixture and I’m not starting now. Well done Sky, I can only assume Monday night is for their benefit, it certainly does me no favours. I’ve also noticed the Saint’s game has been moved to Monday as well, that’s another shift swap I will have to organise, it makes you wonder if they actually give a toss about the fans that travel to the away games………..

| No, they don't give a toss about fans in general.
Catalonia is quite a religious state, if you've seen Perpignan on a sunday, you'll understand why. Besides, it's Easter, can't remember ever seeing a RL match played on Easter Sunday, Easter Monday and Good Friday have been traditional fixtures for as long as I can remember. And, ims, Catalans played Leeds before the cameras last Easter.

| to be fair lots of people have to change shifts to accommodate Friday and Sunday fixtures as well...
I find it hard to believe when people say Sky dont give a toss about our game.
ITV dont give a toss about our game, Channel 4 dont, Dave, Film 4 and Babestation dont.
The BBC have decent go but I doubt they'd lose any sleep if they lost it tommorrow, but Sky stump up 90 million quid once in a while for it. I think its fair to say they quite like our game and thank for them I say........

| i think it's fair to say that in order to catch every game home and away you, your family and even your work have to make sacrifices in order to pull it off. i take it as part of the enjoyment. trying to blag your boss that you haven't had many friday nights off in the summer or why you need to change your days off due to a last minute fixture change is all part and parcel of the game we love to watch!
oh and without sky we'd still be playing workington on a wednesday night followed by leeds on a sunday!

| I have mellowed my harsh at sky recently. They gave us a good deal during a time when a lot os sports are getting shafted, regarding pay.
I like the idea of monday night rugby. For 40 years (I think) the yanks have had to do monday night football. Going from washington to seattle is a journey and yet they do it... Sooooo get over it!

This thought has crossed my mind as well.
If you pay £90million for something, I think you're entitled to have a say what happens with said something.
As for this game in particular, (and whilst we're all being selfish whilst complaining about Sky being selfish) I went to our first trip to Perpignan and loved every minute. Since then I've had a clash every season - either holiday abroad, stag do or weddings. I'm free this year but will have an 8 month old son. The fact it's now a TV game means I can watch it.
Thanks Sky.

| On the whole I think Sky is brilliant.
You might not always agree with them but every season they're doing a great job of promoting "this great sport of ours".
Good to see John Kear on board this season.

| It's a disgrace, playing a game on Easter Monday. No respect for the fans.

Sounds like you normally go on the day trip. It was always going to be Easter Monday.

| The away game has always been scheduled for Easter Monday.
It is the home game that has recently been switched to a Monday evening from the Sunday.
