| There are two things which will stick in my memory for a long, long time about you Wire Fans at yesterdays game. The first was the incredible turn out on an absolute shocker of a day made worse, I hear, by a very bad accident on the M62 on your way home which must have added hours onto the journey time.
The second was when the young injured soldier came out onto the KC pitch to launch our annual charity appeal. I think, to a fan, everyone stood and applauded in that North Stand which really was brilliant of you all. THE RUGBY LEAGUE FAMILY AS ONE
All those fans who were there are not only a credit to Warrington but to the whole game.
A massive thank you and well done once again.

| Completely agree with the OP.
Fantastic turnout from Wire considering the weather. I'm still abit disappointed we (Hull) didn't win it, although a draw was probably a fair result. See you at the HJ.

| The last time we played you, your fans were awesome in applauding the Warrington team after we had finished league leaders and yesterday was good natured. The diversion after the closure of the M62 looked like it would have been a decent drive on a nice sunny afternoon (Through South and North Cave) but not in thick fog at 20MPH in temps at around minus 5, It took about an hour to travel what appeared to be about 10 miles.
Hope you have a good season, You look a lot more resilient in defence yesterday and if you continue to defend like that I might have a sneaky tenner each way on you to win the Challenge cup.

It must have been foggy the diversion was along the B1230 through Newport, Gilberdyke, Straddlethorpe and Howden at least that is the way we were sent.

| Couldn't agree more with the OP.
It really was a heart-warming sight to see the whole stadium rise and applaud the young soldier as they did with such gusto. I hope the HelpforHeroes/Hull partnership raises lots of money throughout the season.

| Agree with all that's been posted so far.
Hopefully all that bitterness between the two sets of supporters that existed in a few seasons back is now well and truly behind us. I thought the Hull club, stadium company and local fuzz did a great job in making sure away fans were able to get off on their way nice and quickly (on the coaches at least).

| I heard about the closure on radio Humberside and followed their instructions. A1034/ A1079 following the hollow diamond diversion signs.
I tried out the park and ride this time after spending an hour on the car park at the end of the last game. Was feeling pretty smug with myself for getting moving quickly until the detour around yorkshire. I would advise the park and ride though.

We followed these directions that were on radio Humberside as well., but after an hour wait to get off the car park, by which time the fog was really thick and we could see for about two inches,it was more nail biting than the last five minutes of the match. Scary.
Well played Hull, look forward to seeing you at HJ. Also thanks for the free car park, refreshing not to be charged a fortune to park.

| Well done you Wire,
Just another Hull FC fan adding his voice to what's been said earlier.
Great numbers, great noise, great to see a shared pride in our fighting men, and great to see another set of fans who are committed to seeing their heroes play in "any kind of weather"
...Wait a minute I feel a song coming on......
