Whilst we're in the business of starting very important polls, I thought I'd start one of my own. which will you buy next season?

I'd go for the Pie although the variation in Pies is wider than Hotdogs.

Hotdogs range between 5/10 and 7/10 whereas the Pie has a wider variation possible 3/10 to 9/10.

I think in mathematical terms this is the Standard Deviation (I'm sure Phil Clarke will introduce it to his analysis next season).

Pie for me.

Whatever soccer fans claim, the pie is the traditional rugby league repast. Sad that so many grounds have stopped selling them. Clearly it's easier financially to sell frozen burgers etc that won't go off one week to the next, but there is no substitute for a good pie at a match. Among my 'pie highlights' over the years are the meat pies they used to sell at Watersheddings, the meat 'n' taters bought from the back of what was ( in the 70s ) the new North stand at The Willows, and, of course, most of the pies on offer at Central Park. Honourable mention, too, still to this day, for the pie and peas on offer at the Gasworks Social Club just down the road from the Galpharm.

The hot dogs at our ground are only nice if you plaster a few sachets of tommy sauce all over it, as the bread is usually chewy and tastes a bit 'watery', if you know what I mean? Still, the pies at our ground are sh*t. Whatever happened to those vile pizza pods?

Molten hot pie and cup of tea was most definitely a site for sore eyes (or taste for sore mouth??) at the freezing cold friendly at Widnes last year. A hot dog just can't compete with that.

Anyone who wants to go to a rugby game and eat a hot dog should be shot! Almost as bizarre as Leigh selling 9 inch pizzas!

Pies at the HJ are rank, hotdog by default.

I'm sure the pies have hairs in them.

Better when we had pie and peas at Wilderspool, scraping the bottom of your polystyrene tray with your fork trying to seperate the pastry.

Meat and Taty pie for me every time. You can't get them up here (apart from Morrisons) and I love them.
