Myler MOM. Westwood & him head and shoulders better than anyone else. How Broughton got a jersey though I'll never know - he's useless!

Thought Westwood was in the full england team?

I can imagine he played to gain some match fitness

Good game , bargain for £3 aswel. Westwood and Myler were the standout performers for me, charnley was good aswel. Ratchford didnt look great at full back though.

Myler was excellent and I can't understand why McNamara has picked McGuire to replace Lomax. It defies all logic given that Myler has already played for the England side this year and has been in good form, whereas McGuire wasn't good enough when he was in much better form.

The link between Westwood and Myler was excellent and something that England could benefit from, but obviously not if McNamara doesn't pick the in form players.

Westwood obviously looked much better than pretty much every player on the pitch and he was absolutely brutal in defence and came up with some good offloads too.

I also thought Mike Cooper was very good at prop. I don't know much about him but he seemed to do better than Ben Harrison, who I thought was a little quiet given his previous international experience.

Westwood was MoM for me, best players on the park were him, Myler, Charnley and Mossop. Cooper looked good but Ratchford looked quite poor at full back.

Agree with most that Myler and Westwood were the stand outs. Ratchford showed a few good touches but made rafts of handling errors which let him down. Also Josh Charnley, Mossop and Danny Houghton are excellent prospects. I'd have selected the last 2 in the full England squad ahead of McIlorum and JJB or Bailey.

I keep saying we won't see him at fb for Wire, he's there as extra cover for 6 to take the pressure of Briers while GOB comes on as a playmaker.

We're really in trouble in the NH for international competition. The Aussies will absolutely smash the England side with extra ease since it sounds like there are at least 4 players in the knights team who should be starters in the full side.

No-one in that Knights side (except Westwood) should be near the ETS yet. Only exception is possibly Myler but even then I think playing him in the Knights is the right call. He may look head and shoulders better than everyone else but a bit more international (and club) experience then maybe next year promote him.

Let's not forget the point of this Knights team. Give the youth a chance by exposing them at international level.
