When the pies chant their new “song” for ages it’s awful and dull. Now we have taken it up and added the creative words “your s***” into it. It just makes it cringeworthy. So can we stop and go back to singing our decent songs which contains words

I think it sounds brilliant when Wigan do it properly (as they did during the closing stages last week at the HJ).
Our "version" is atrocious.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

Really? I thought it sounded great & fair play to those Wigan fans who was still belting it out 15 mins after the ground was nearly empty. The added 'Youre sh*t' from the South West stand was the funniest bit of the afternoon for me  |

It was started by about 20 people in the west stand.... it was soooooo funny and then the south west stand corner started to join in. i thought it was ace and just what RL is all about. Hearing it without the You're **** is now a little boring.

Totally agree, it is exactly what RL is all about-it was all in the timing! Sorry, I didnt realise it was the brave souls in the West Stand that started it. Has anyone put it on any well known video websites yet do we know? |
