It is just me it seems awfully quiet in the south stand lately, not much in the way of drums and what happened to the giant flag!

i must say from where we were in the west stand there was very little noise from the wire fans last night, obviously being under the commentary position it will come across on tv but i thought the atmosphere was wire was very poor considering they were ripping apart a fellow top 3 side. but i suppose success breeds contempt and most wire fans are now quite happy to sit back and let the good times roll?
Btw,this isn't a dig at warrington fans who as always were brilliant with us last night just an observation on how quiet it was last night.

Its always the same with games against Catalans, Harlequins and Huddersfield. If there are no opposition fans the atmosphere is flat.

We need a crowd recording to play over the P/A system like they used to do at Salford a few years ago, that should generate a better atmosphere.

it was good at times, we got going especially when we let a few tries in. But certainly quiet for most of the game yeah.

knowone ever sings at home games anymore, its full of glory supporters and went downhill since geordie stopped bringing his drum, no drums are allowed in the middle anymore and have to go to the 20 meter line, away games are the only time we get atmosphere bar wigan and saints at home

We could also steal some eastern Europian football songs and claim them as our own?

Its not just the south stand the whole ground lacks atmosphere

The South Stand woke up a little on Friday Evening when the game could of gone either way,but my lad noticed the atmosphere was a little dull in there!!

The south is still the main stand the players clap to when they run out and the 1st one they applaud on the way off the field,plus everytime there is a singer on or Jedward they always face the South Stand like they get their own little concert so come on south stand lets have it rocking against the pies..

Serious question, what's up with the little hats you always see Giants fans wearing?

it's weird, from the west stand you cannot hear a peep from the south for most of the match, get home watch it on SKY+ and all you can hear is the south, it's like listening to 2 completely different matches! i am aware that the commentary team are above the south but do they have extra audio kit set up in the south as well?

The South Stand probably houses the Club's biggest fans. Most of them in there have supported Wire for many years. Let's hope they can cheers us to victory against Wigan and can be the extra man we need.
