| This is a constructive thread just to see how we could improve as a club both on and off the pitch, at the min were obviously doing the majority of things right but that doesn't stop you wanting to improve as a business.
1. I think the club shop should be bigger with a greater range of clothing, maybe a good range of NRL gear and international test shirts. The current shop is ok but its very small given how far we have progressed as a club, the way a lot of the things are laid out especially in the middle could be better.
At the end of the day any business relies on its revenue, i just think the club shop and merchandising could be improved quite a bit, in my experiences the staff have been fine though, polite with a smile etc
2. I don't know how the links are these days with the amatuer game but they didn't used to be the best, if thats improved then fair enough.
I'll just kick off with those 2, i'm sure people have their own opinions on how we can improve.

| They certainly need to be making a conscious effort at figuring out how we can ensure our 2012 15,000 capacity stadium is close to full each home match. That's what we need to be aiming for. At the minute, I can only see the Wigan and Saints games as a possibility - perhaps Leeds if they do some sort of marketing campaign like Wigan have done with the 'BigOne' the last three years.
Take tonight for example. Why not offer discounted tickets for west stand? A stand two thirds empty is no good to anybody.

Beat me to it. Why not Market certain games as he big one, two and three? Like tonight as you say, I reckon with cheap tickets and marketing we could of got a sellout.

Agree with yoou about the shop, have argued for years on here that we need a town centre mall outlet to attract the passing trade.
Also we could do with more of a part atmosphere before games instead of just the pre match pub. What about the picnic area near the ground with tables, food stalls, entertainers and drink stalls?

A similar concept would be a great idea next year. I'm reluctantly impressed with what Wigan have managed by way of such a simple marketing ploy. Leeds, Hudds and Bradford would be a target for us next season. Get the damn place filled. Looks good on tv, boosts revenue even if only slightly, gets people talking around town etc ..

Even better would be a game on the road out of Wazza, at Anfield or City Of Manchester Stadium - a big clash with Saints or Wigan. Market it as a big game and we could get a record crowd, especially when we get a big following at home.

| I agree with the above and think the most important thing is to target 15,000 as our average attendance for the future.

| Have a testimonial match for Wolfie, trust me, the amount of service the man in the costume has put in for the club over the years is phenomenal.

| tbh i think we need more than 15,000 capacity becasue whe we play wigan and saints we could get 19000-20000 most likely but getting decent crowds against catalas and quins will be dificult i like the idea of half price tickets because we need to fill all stad tbh.
i really do think that the south stand needs to be made bigger as it is full pretty much every week and we could get way more into there for most games, the south stand is about 10 rows shorter than all the other standsand we need to make it bigger by about 1000-1500

I strangely like this idea. Make it like a family day, cheap tickets for a friendly match, maybe kids get in free or something, then a family fun day following it. if this was done right it could attract more new supporters and would create a closer link to the club and fans as the fans could meet their hero's etc...

i can't believe i'm actually responding to this, but the club have finally decided to expand the stadium, cos its feasible, but not essential, and you want to us to spend more money, leaving warrington and renting a stadium elsewhere.
thats what your saying right?

| As the club has come so far in the last, say, 10 years, i would like it to release some form of mission statement on where it sees our development over the next decade, and what it wants to acheive on and off the field. Obviously this doesn't have to go into reams of detail and give away and strategies that are meant to be private, but i would just like to know what is next for us in the long term.
