those rules are wacky they should just do the rules of the saints vs sale match a few years back first half union and second league but they used one set of points to keep it fair e.g union half try only worth 4
It would still favour the Union side in that they would kick the ball into touch and win the line out. They would then have unlimited tackles in the other teams half.
The only way to stop that would be to use the RL rule of NO direct kicking into touch, and a tap to the defending team if touch is found from anything but a 40:20.
