I think matt king had a fantastic game today! looking sharper than he was against Hull FC, everytime he got the ball he looked like he wanted to be there today. After not being happy with his performance against Hull, happy with him today!

but also great performance all round today!

I'm sure Matt would be glad to apologise if you felt he was not up to the mark last week in his first game for 10 weeks..............

Good to hear, missed the game today. I was one of those berating King's poor performance last week, and feared we would have seen the same today.

Glad to hear he went well, but it's much easier to look good in a team that run's away with a game than it is when a team is under the kosh.

Not surprising he was looking sharper, another weeks training & a 2nd game is bound to help.

King at his best on one side, Joel at his best on the other and Benny, Morley & Monas attacking the centre. At their best teams will be spread thin trying to work out where that 5th tackle attack is going to go!

I think King is a winger. Over the past couple of seasons we've played him at , We signed him as a winger so play him there. He looked great yesterday, well and sharp.

King was signed as a centre as that is where he played for Melbourne. Only ever played on the wing for Australia as did Joel Monaghan

Both are centres (King left and Joel right) but we choose to play them on the wing

It may be debatable as to where his best position is

Played most of his games at centre for the Raiders I think.

Monaghan was signed as a winger though from all the press. With how we're playing it doesn't really make a difference as, apart from when Atkins and Williams are on the same side, we're using wingers and centres interchangeably as they'll swap through the game as they go. It's an interesting system and one I think works for us.

King is better off out on the wing in SL with his skills under the high ball, like Monaghan. Stick with Bridge and either Blythe/Evans (if available) or a safer bet with Atkins in the centres
