Quote: PsychoBabble "If the last 2 games have removed some of the arrogance from some posters on this forum then I for one will feel something good has come from the last 2 games. We played some great rugby prior to that and no doubt will again this season but the suggestion that this season was going to be a 2 horse race from the off was always going to be wide of the mark.
I always look on other teams forums out of curiousity and some of the posts from Warrington fans have made me cringe.
I think we have always been reasonably good losers, and lets be honest we have had plenty of practice. Being a good winner SHOULD be easier.'"
That is a good post, no a very good post. Two Challenge Cup wins, back to back, and very good win too, made some of your fans became very very arrogant in thinking that Warrington were the greatest club in the world and could never lose. [Slight exaggeration, but you get the drift.]
Super League is a very open competition even though off the field there are several clubs whose finances are in a mess, which seem to worry them on the field, naturally. I would never like to predict who would be top of the league, nor would I like to predict the reverse.
Some of the Warrington fans should remember that there are ups and downs in any sport and when you are at the top there is only one way to go, and when every team wants to be you every slip up can be a major one.
There is only one club that has been guaranteed a licence for 2012 so far. You can never tell what could happen between now and the 26th July.
