| Went in the East Stand for Hospitality for the Catalans game and was a little let down by the experience.
Expensive drinks, a small meal (bangers and mash!) and didn't even get a programme!! Also the host Pete Pennington (apparently from Wire FM and no relative to me!!!) was basically an arrogant berk who treated the audience like idiots, not sure where they dragge him from???
Think the club needs to review the whole package!

He wouldn't be a relative of you anyway, because his surname is Pinnington. Not surprised by your description of him though, he is a bit of a fool.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Listen to the RL show on Wire FM. His complete lack of knowledge on any RL subject
is unbelievable. Contrast that to the blokes representing Saints and Pies and he comes accross as an buffoon who can't be bothered to learn much about the game.

Quote: Ian 77 Redux "What does it cost for the hospitality?'"
For the Catalans game it was £14.99 for South Stand season ticket holders and £9.99 for East & North Standers.
Usual prices:
www.warringtonwolves.org/hospitality-
I notice there is a £20 off voucher in the season ticket book.

It was a crossed booking
Our corporate guests got an ill informed berk, prattling on, in a plastic Scouse/Runcorn accent.
Meanwhile, in a room not too far away, a bunch of gullible kids got lectured about the merits of a quick play the ball, by a bluff, portly northerner, in his mid-50's

Fit the latter description (almost) but it wasn't me, honest.

| I've commented on this before, re Gerrum onside, the other week
For want of a better phrase, this is "car crash" radio. I've listened to this, whilst Goldblatt jnr, has her swimming lesson. The ones who represent Pies/Stains/Comics seem "reasonably knowledgeable", yet Pinnington comes across as a mix of Alan Partridge/Richard Madeley.
It's almost like the Wire FM bosses have said "Look, Peed, we've got no-one else to represent the Warrington side of things. You'll have to do it. Here's an old VHS copy of the 85 Challrenge Cup final, and 100 great Rugby League tries. Try your best, and try not to mention the Black Eyed Peas, or the Breeze Bar....good luck.
Back on track, I've been invited to the Martin Dawes stand's Hospitality, as one of my mates had a spare seat (on a few occasions) at his company's table. I've alway's found the food to be first class, though I can't comment on the bar prices, as it was always on a tab (anyone ever noticed, ale always tastes nicer, when it's free). The speakers have usually been good (when the PA's worked properly), too.

| Went in hospitality in East stand for the Hull KR game - food was an excellent carvery, free programme and didn't really notice how expensive the beer was - certainly don't remember thinking it was dearer then the £3.20 pints they serve in plastic glasses downstairs.
I think you must have picked a bad day.

| I went in there a couple of seasons back against the Pies and thought it was quite good value.
Food was good, beer a bit pricey.
Best bit was after the game when both teams went there for their after match food. The players (in particular Chris Hicks, Matt King and Jon Clarke) were happy to talk to the fans and have their photo's taken with them.

All games are graded, bronze, silver & gold. Whe went three years ago for a Saints game and it was £60 a head with a discount for season ticket holders, £10 for adults and £6 for juniors.......if my memory serves.

| This kind of post really pi$$es me off. One persons poor experience can result in 100 people deciding not to bother with hospitality. By all means have a moan that the experience was not up to your expectations, but do it to the club directly and offer suggestions, I know that Andy Gatcliffe is always receptive to constructive criticism, give him a shout - drop him an email.
Expensive drinks ? Quelle surprise !! So is Wembley and Cardiff, not going to put me off from going
No programme ? I'm sure this would have been mentioned (provided or not provided) prior to your booking
Small meal ? Don't go to a Heathcotes establishment if you want a bellyfull - Toby Carvery is the place (take your own plate though !)
To redress the balance, I have paid for hospitality at the HJ for a variety of occasions and never been disappointed - always had value for money.
