Another great performance last night, played a key part in our first two tries. I am very surprised by the level he is playing at, I had judged him a fair while ago not to be good enough mainly due to a poor attitude however I am glad to be proved wrong.

I would like to know if anyone watching Leigh last year would have thought he would make such a big contribution to a top super league side.

I was at the Piedome last night and was not surprised. I posted on another thread how all your team played well and asked when Matt King would be fit as we wanted him back.

Well I suppose we would quite happily take King on a DC basis.

Rumour in Leigh that we will be taking a Wire under 21 prop on loan and he will play for us on Sunday against your favourite team. Think his name is Cooper.

The lad improved tremendously while at Leigh last season. he obviously benefitted from training with both Tony Smith and Ian Millward. He became a great favourite at Leigh, mainly because of his 100% honest, hard working attitude. I guess we are suprised to see how much he has developed in SL, but presumably he was just waiting for a chance. What do you reckon will happen to him when all your centres are fit again?
