Why can't we just have old fashioned stairs??....All these escalators and lifts have just contributed to the obesity problem in this country.....There was no fat people back when stairs were in vogue....

Nothing to do with the Council, write to the centre management. The lifts are often off as well, they should change their maintenance provider!

The escalator at the bus station will be completed by Easter............................ and when they aint finished it will be Whit....................... and then it will be for the school holidays....... then for when we get back from Wembley to cope with the masses going into town........and then...ASK ME NEXT YEAR. (officially ----supposed to be sometime in March 2011)
