The one on Westy Lane (shut when I went before kick off, Saturday), likewise the ones on Kingsway (shut for over 1 week, now) and Marsh House Lane, and the one on Bruche Heath Gardens had next to nothing on their shelves last time I went in (and walked straight back out again). Are they in financial trouble, or are they pulling out of Warrington altogether?

Spot on Bobby, I only realy use the place when they've got stuff on offer.
They've been expensive , on the whole, for a decade now. Makes Cellar 5 (remember them) seem like a cut-price place to shop. They're just nice and handy |

Shame really but looks like they have gone the same way as the eld corner shop!!
Little bit to expensive for my liking especially when most people live within a couple of miles of a supermarket,that somehow always as offers of some kind on Beers,Wines And spirits!!!!!!!
i asked a mate the other day where have all the cobblers gone these days,he looked at me as if my head buttoned up the back!!moving with the times i suppose.

The Bargain Booze in Penketh is still going strong as its owned by a different person than the other warrington shops which are shut. (and i've been told to add by her who must be obeyed that it always has lots of stock and friendly staff). I believe the other Warrington shops are up for sale if anyones interested.
I used to see a few of the wire players in the penketh shop before Tony took over.
