| Hmm, do the Aussies not understand our playoff system?

I don't think we were almost at OT, because we didn't even win a playoff game...

2. Wigan Warriors
3. St.Helens
4. Hull FC
5. Leeds Rhinos
6. Huddersfield Giants

8. Salford City Reds
9. Bradford Bulls
10. Castleford Tigers
11. Catalans Dragons
12. Crusaders RL
13. Harlequins RL
14. Wakefield Trinity Wildcats'"
That's a beautiful looking table...
Don't think it will be too far wrong either, Hudders will finish above Leeds or Hull, maybe even both? And Catalans are my outside bet to make the 8. Top 3 for me this year is as above but I don't know in what order... I'm sticking with Saints as a gut feeling but I really have no idea!

| Totally possible if we can cut out the daft unexpected home defeats that seem to occur. And beating Saints at least once would make a notable difference to both our points total and the team psychology.

Beating Saints could be crucial to us finishing 1st or 2nd.
Last season if we had won both games against Saints then we would have definitely finished 2nd and I don't know the points difference we had with Wigan but we could have finished 1st.
If we beat Saints at least once in the league this season it will have a big impact at the top where margins are so tight between the top clubs.

To be fair i cant think of any daft unexpected home defeats in the league last season... apart from saints.
yes we lost to wigan and leeds as well... but the likes of salford, wakefield, quins beating us at home appear to be a thing of the past.

| To win a grand final you need a few things to go your way, you need to have your key players fit and available at the back end of the year, for as much as some people don`t like Leon Pryce he was missed by saints, they looked clueless in the middle against Wigan in the GF and lacked ideas and something off the cuff.
A good challenge cup run isn`t going to help any GF ambitions, it would take a super human team to do the double now that we have 5 realistic teams that can make it to a GF. The teams that didn`t make the latter stages of the challenge cup had time off during the year which is like a mid season break, we didn`t have that luxury last season and neither did Leeds, neither of us made the GF.
A lot of luck is going to be involved to make a GF, having the bulk of your key players fairly fresh and available is a must at the back end of the season.

As a team Warrington visibly switched off after the CC win, the performances took a noticeable dive in intensity. I suspect any team would struggle to maintain such a high level after such a physical and mental peak of focus.

Probably closer than you realise, if Westwood had got that kick just right of the posts v saints i think we'd of finished 2nd
