| Not the TV programme but the players... the thread on dual contract players got me thinking about them... I would say we have 4 at the min.. players that aren't properly established... but going back to the under 20's would be a backwards step for them now.
Mike Cooper - contracted until 2012
Tyrone McCarthy - contracted until 2011
Lee Mitchell - contract until 2011
Matty Blythe - contracted until 2011
This coming season could well be make or break for these guys.... be interesting to see how they go.
At this stage last year i was thinking that Cooper would go on to have a big season for us... in the end we didn't get many injuries and he didn't get much of a chance to step in and make his mark...
After last summers training camp i remember John's and Morley saying good things about Mitchell... so im expecting him to show something this season.
Out of the 4, who are you expecting to make their mark this season (if any)?

| I would love to see cooper make the step up. He is in the position you need the most great replenishments.

| personally, I can see at least 3, if not all of them doing a Pickersgill, and leaving when their contracts expire.
Cooper (injury incl) has been here a long time. Blythe/Mitchell have to be knocking on the door of a subs bench spot next season, otherwise it's bye-bye time. Not seen to much of McCarthy to make a decision

i think cooper will make an excellent prop one day... he has that nasty streak which i really like.....think he needs to put a few stone of muscle to help him in the collision.... i was glad to see smith gave him a contract extension to the end of 2012.. so hopefully he has plans for his development.... be great to see him run out this season ben harrison size (or close)

Me too, Morleys, but how long do we have to wait. He needs to do it, pdq. Looked v good against the Pies CCsemi 09, and we know his potential.....but I fear we could have another Pickersgill.
What little I saw of Blythe on Sky Thurs night rugby, has he found his level
Mitchell has to deliver quickly, too

Liam Watts for Hull KR looks a good young prop and should develop into a decent player next year but apart from him, I'd say nobody.

Mate of mine looks like Jay from the show. He did an interview with John O'Shea and the first think O'Shea said was "You look like Jay from the Inbetweeners."

| They all need to show a decent level of improvement this year, as you would expect from players at this level. If any of them don't then their contracts won't be renewed. Simples.

| McCarthy and Mitchell started like houses on fire for us last year. McCarthy had a long spell on the sidelines and seemed to come back so much bigger than before, he ran with the same intensity but looked less mobile. Mitchell seems strong but very prone to mistakes. Blyth started slowly and got better as the season went on for us. A pure athlete it seemed to me. Im hoping we can keep him all season again as i think he will only get better.
