I know there are a few other threads regarding last nights match, fickle fans, etc but are you satisfied with this season ??

I know as a family we are .............. 3rd place finish (actually joint 2nd) a convincing CC cup winners over Leeds, our most consistent season ever, two of Super Leagues leading try scorers, exciting matches, superb support home & away, romping forwards, canny half backs ........... need I say any more ??

Give Huddersfield credit for last night rather than finger pointing at Warrington's (apparently) lacklustre first half display; who else was expecting Hudds to turn up with there "normal" one-up rugby ?? Let's not forget they have won 6 games on the spin before Wire

Personally, a massive well done to the Players & The Club for our "Summer" entertainment this season ....... yes, I would have loved to have gone to Old Trafford but we were out-smarted last night by a good Huddersfield team

Yep not a bad season in all challenge cup in the cabinet,3 rd place finnish something to build on for next season.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this season. Loads of highs, a few lows but not as much of a roller coaster ride as usual.

Knock-out rugby comes down to who plays best on the day, last night it was Huddersfield. We didn't disgrace ourselves even though that first half was woeful and wasn't a good reflection of how the rest of the season went.

Yes, I'm more than satisfied. Like many SUPPORTERS (In caps for a reason) I would have taken the Challenge Cup win and third in the league before the whistle was blown at the HJ against Harlequins back in February. That would have meant we would have had a good consistent run in the league and all the enjoyment of another Wembley victory. Oh hang on. isn't that what we have had? We have come a long way under Tony Smith and I'm hoping we make another addition or two to continue this move forward.

Overall yes. Plenty to build on, but plenty to look back on with pride too.

Yes, definitely satisfied. If you had offered me the last two seasons two years ago, I, and I suspect the vast majority of fans would have snatched your arm off.

like to thank all the players and backroom staff for bringing back the challenge cup for the second year in a row and getting us to joint second in the league, cracking season. see you all next year

Yep, i'm satisfied with the season - if you'd have offered me what we've finished with at the start of the season i'd have taken it.

I'm disappointed about last night, as should be every other fan and the players. On reflection maybe it was a game too far. Hopefully the players will use it as a motivator for next year. Smith's got another pre-season to work them them and improve them even more.

great season ...slightly ruined by the pies being top of the league. but i take comfort in the fact that two of Leeds, Saints or Wigan will end up winning nothing (nope not counting the hubcap or the tag rugby 9's wigan fans)

dissapointed with a couple of players staying dissapointed that some are leaving. hoping we strengthen next year with more than just Hodgson coming in.

Great season for all the above reasons but, I think we should target the SL next season, trying to win that and the CC takes some doing. Overall very satisfied, all the P taking and trolling on other posts is a backhand compliment if you ask me.

No, definitely 3rd not joint 2nd. But still miles better than last season's 10th.
