| After a few negative threads though I would start this. What are your best stories/memories from yesterday? For the whole day/weekend - not necessarily whilst watching the game.
Couple of my memories:
- Standing outside the Greyhound with what felt like thousands of Wire fans and what everyone presumed was the Leeds team coach (was it?) and just hearing the boos and wire chants ringing out.
- Chatting to fans from all clubs who were real Rugby League fans Wembley Central.
- The overflowing toilet in the Greyhound put (not necessarily a good memory).

| - Standing outside the pub on the corner of the road where the coaches were coming in, a man in a primrose and blue Toga was directing traffic, sending the Warrington coaches the correct way and Leeds in a big circle.
- The same pub, when the club coach came down that road the atmosphere was absolutely amazing.
- The moment that the teams walked onto the pitch, again it was a great atmosphere.
- Morley lifting the cup (obviously)
- Lee Briers putting his medal around the neck of the disabled child in the wheelchair at the bottom, made my day really because it was such a great gesture, he didn't have to do what he did, but he did just to give the child a great moment

| All the groping i recieved off women wanting a picture (dressed in a black wolf costume), almost everyone that i passed saying "i bet he's bloody roasting in that" yes i was, all the banter around the ground with the Leeds fans and everyone dressed up just having a laugh.
The Train at the end going to London Bridge,in which i had a great laugh with everyone in the carriage.
Seeing us lift the cup after destroying the current SL champions and making them look ordinary for such a great side.

| Also forgot to mention Simon Moran turning up at the Greyhound eating Jelly Tots was fairly memorable.

| Being at the holiday inn on Manchester road when the boys got off the coach and boarded the open top bus! An unbelievable smell of stale ale hit me as the doors opened! Seeing Moz lift the cup and watching Lee's reaction when he was awarded MOM! another fantastic Wire weekend

| Setting off from Warrington in the bus, with the feeling of apprehension & nerves. Following the same routine as last year in the vain hope that it will affect the result.
The look of joy on my mates face when we met after the game & both said the same thing "it worked - we won!"

Did you have you're photo taken with Fred Flintstone just outside the ground about 2pm?
If so that was with my mate Paul (his lad was wearing a Saints shirt & I had on last seasons Wires home top) ?

| -Mate driving us to wilderspool not answering his phone when we desperatelly were trying to get hold of him at 6 15am( he eventually answered at 6 45 so we just made it !)
-Typically out of about 15 coaches leaving from wilderspool, mine was the only one that did not arrive so was just there with 48 cans of fosters but nowhere to go with them( eventually arrived and left about 20minutes after everyone else)
-No toilet on the coach so some people ed in a bucket then threw it out when we stopped on hard shoulder haha( not me i begged the driver to stop at the next services haha)
- The singing and light hearted typical w&nker and v signs between both sets of fans when passing on the motorway( they were not very keen to play on the way home )
-Seeing all the fans on the corner where all the coaches pass
- Seeing all the players jumping on each other after the try by Hicks that probably clinched the game at 20-0, Mozza lift the trophy and the touching gesture by Briers with the young lad in a wheelchair.

14942.jpg Currently, I'm not Fat!:14942.jpg |
|
| Started our day off with a Maccy D's breakfast at 6:30 then onto WBQ for the 7:20 to Euston. It only took 1:52 much better than the Wire Flyer.
Arrived at Euston at 9:10 made our way to the National Gallery and took in some world class paintings , VG's Sunflowers, Constable's Haywain, Flatford Mill and The Fighting Temeraire.
Then into Leicester Square for some food at the Yates, very poor food and even worse service. Leicester Square was full of Leeds fans with only us and one other small group of Wires.
Arrived at the stadium at about 1:50 and by this time Fatbelly was merry with four pints of beer inside him. Before and throughout the game I knew we would win, I wasn't being cocky I just knew we had the team and coach to beat them.
Match came and went sang my heart out and had more beer with a number of trips to the toilet to point Percy and the Porcelain.
Another highlight for me was all the singing directly after the match in the concourses as we all made our way down the stairs to the exit.
Went straight back to Euston and caught the train back to Manchester Piccadilly and then to WBQ, we never had our tickets checked during the journey and although we had paid and had valid tickets no one checked this.
Mrs Fatbelly picked me and my three Wire mates up and we went directly to the HJ parked up and all kissed the John Bevan statue, sang we love you Warrington we do ( it was raining at this time).
Then went home had some tea (dinner to those from Lymm) a bit more beer and watched the tries one more time before I fell into bed at 11pm with the most perfect day behind me.
